The wildlife, the people, the moments… what a season to look back on! 💙
Our 2026 highlights hold so much of what we love about sharing Bressay and Noss with you. Towering cliffs, spectacular seabirds, inquisitive seals and unexpected encounters—all enjoyed with wonderful company.
Wildlife highlights included orcas, a memorable encounter with well over 20 Risso’s dolphins on a flat calm day, and otters—including one on the pontoon before the tour had even started! 🐬🦦
There have been birthday cake surprises, laughter around the table and familiar faces returning for another adventure. One particularly special guest was 101-year-old Jack, joining us for his fourth visit! Moments like these mean so much. 🎂💙
Welcoming visitors from across the world and sharing our islands with people closer to home is a privilege. Supporting our local community remains close to our hearts, through trips with local groups, charities and organisations, and helping more people enjoy time on the water together.
This season also brought the joy of winning Best Visitor Attraction at the Highlands & Islands Thistle Awards for the second time! Alongside this, we became finalists for Purpose-Led Business of the Year at the Women’s Enterprise Scotland Business Awards and in FIVE categories at The Herald Scottish Family Business Awards. So much to celebrate, with more exciting evenings ahead
To our brilliant crew, local community, collaborators near and far, and everyone who recommends us, shares our posts, leaves a review or cheers us on—thank you. Every bit of support matters to our small family business.
And to each and every one of you who has joined The Noss Boat over the business’s 34-year history: you are part of its story. Whether this was your first trip or one of many, thank you for being part of ours.
So many special moments, made even better by the people we shared them with. Here’s to you all! 🌟💙
With love and thanks, Marie, Brian and all The Noss Boat crew 💙
